This page provides guidelines for sharing or publishing wallpaper images generated by WondayWall. These guidelines apply to Windows, iOS, and Android.
About Generated Images
Wallpapers generated by WondayWall are created by the Google Gemini API (an AI model). Generated images are not photographs or human-authored creative works; they are content automatically produced by AI.
Storage, Sharing, and Wallpaper Setup by OS

On every OS, before sharing or publishing an image, check whether it may contain personal information, schedule details, locations, confidential information, or content related to third-party rights.
Posting to SNS, Blogs, Videos, and Product Pages
When posting or sharing generated images on social media, blogs, videos, product pages, or similar platforms, follow the terms of service and community guidelines of each platform. If a service has specific rules regarding AI-generated content, ensure you comply with those rules.
Disclosing AI-Generated Content
Depending on the platform and context, you may be required to disclose that an image was created by AI. Add a label such as "AI-generated image" where appropriate.
Real People, Copyrighted Works, and Trademarks
Exercise caution when using or publishing images that may appear to contain:
- Real individuals or public figures
- Content that resembles existing copyrighted works, characters, or artistic styles
- Trademarks, logos, or brand elements
Avoid using such images commercially or in any way that infringes on the rights of third parties.
Personal and Confidential Information
WondayWall generates wallpapers based on calendar events, RSS news, interest keywords, and additional instructions. Take care before publishing images that may visually reveal:
- Calendar event details, locations, or names
- Internal business information, project names, or client details
- Personal schedule or location data
- Confidential information entered as additional instructions
Avoid publishing images that could expose such information to the public.
News and Real-World Events
WondayWall may generate wallpapers based on RSS news feeds. Generated images are AI-created fiction and are not photographs or factual records of real events. Even if an image relates to a news story or real-world event, do not treat it as a factual record or share it in a context that could be misleading.
Commercial Use and Public Distribution
Before using generated images commercially or making them publicly available, verify the following yourself:
- The rights and usage conditions for generated content under the terms of service of the external services used, such as the Google Gemini API
- The terms of service and AI-generated content policies of the platform where you intend to publish
- That the image content does not infringe third-party rights, such as copyright, portrait rights, or trademark rights
- That the image does not contain personal information, schedule details, locations, or confidential information
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
