WondayWall Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") define the conditions for using WondayWall ("the app") provided by Freeesia ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the app, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms. Use, modification, and redistribution of the source code are governed separately by the MIT License.

1. Purpose of the App

The app is a tool for Windows, iOS, and Android that uses the Google Gemini API to generate wallpaper images based on the user's calendar events, registered RSS feeds, additional prompts, and related information. Applying generated images as wallpapers, saving them, sharing them, and assisting with wallpaper setup are performed only within the capabilities allowed by each OS. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of generated results.

Users are responsible for reviewing the terms of use, privacy policies, fees, API limits, and permission settings of each external service and OS feature before using the app. Changes, suspension, fees, or restrictions applied by third-party services or OS features may prevent the app from functioning.

3. Credentials and On-Device Data

Google AI API keys, calendar credentials, settings, history, generated images, on-device calendar data, and images saved to Photos/Gallery are managed on the user's device or by external services contracted by the user. Users are responsible for properly managing their devices, accounts, credentials, permission settings, and generated images. We are not responsible for leakage, corruption, or loss of information stored on the user's device or external services.

4. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for their use of calendar data, RSS feeds, prompts, API keys, generated images, wallpaper application, saving, and sharing. Do not use the app in a way that violates laws, public order and morals, third-party rights, or rules set by your workplace or organization.

5. Generated Images

Generated images may reflect third-party service outputs, public information, user input, calendar events, RSS news, and reference images. Before using generated images as wallpapers, saving, sharing, publishing, or commercially using them, users are responsible for confirming required rights and the conditions of each related service. Before public sharing or distribution, check whether the image may contain personal information, schedule details, locations, confidential information, or third-party rights.

6. Commercial Use

The app may be used in commercial environments. However, users are responsible for confirming third-party service fees, contracts, usage restrictions, rights handling, support, and warranties related to commercial use.

7. No Warranty

The app is provided "as is". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding continued availability, correct operation, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of generated content, data preservation, or compatibility with third-party services or OS features.

8. Limitation of Liability

Except where liability cannot be disclaimed by law, we are not liable for damages, lost profits, business interruption, data loss, credential leakage, use of generated images, wallpaper application, sharing, or disputes with third parties arising from use of, or inability to use, the app.

9. Updates and Maintenance

We may add, change, fix, or discontinue app features at our discretion. Updates may change settings, behavior, external service integrations, or use of OS features.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms as necessary. Updated Terms become effective when posted in the app or in a public location designated by us. If you continue using the app after the Terms are changed, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
